I caught a little Rush during lunch today, so I will admittedly regurgitate, because I entirely agree with him.
"The undecideds seem to get all the attention, but the fact is that if you can't get your base out to vote, YOU WILL LOSE." (Rush Limbaugh)
The question is, which one of these dems can get the majority of the base out on election night? I see the party widely divided and I don't think the majority of the base will latch on to any of these clowns...my opinion.

The question is, which one of these dems can get the majority of the base out on election night? I see the party widely divided and I don't think the majority of the base will latch on to any of these clowns...my opinion. One must consider the possibility that the DNC views the Democrat "base" as being completely fractured, with different candidates commanding his or her own small portion. As such, perhaps the DNC simply needs to "pick" the one candidate they feel will most effectively serve as the person around whom most of their fractured base will nonetheless rally ... while not even considering Bernie because I think the DNC hates him. Above, I expressed my belief that Biden was going to get the Democrat nomination but now, after having watched the "debates" and reading between the lines, I get the strong impression that Elizabeth Warren has already been chosen (note: I put the word "debates" in quotes because there was no debate; all candidates agreed with each other, some violently agreeing with others, on essentially every single issue). Of course the DNC had its spokespeople, the major media outlets, announce how Biden was "leading in the polls" but Biden still has the same Al Gore stink of being a former Vice President, but with the added creepy public touching/groping. I think we should expect the DNC to instruct CNN, MSNBC, Telemundo, and other media outlets for the mindlessly gullible to start announcing how Elizabeth Warren is starting to "climb in the polls." There are never any actual polls; this is just the DNC's dishonest way of making their decisions appear to be "the people's" decisions. <my opinion>Elizabeth Warren is currently the Democrat nominee, with Biden in the DNC's back pocket in case some eventuality arises that takes Warren out of contention. I don't think the DNC believes they have much of a chance this election and therefore would prefer to not sacrifice someone younger who might have actual potential in 2024. Right now I think the Democrat Presidential nomination is Elizabeth Warren's to lose. </my opinion>

I normally don't have the opportunity to catch the Rush Limbaugh show *but* I happened to catch this segment you mentioned because I was in my car going to lunch on that particular day at that particular time. Yes, Limbaugh's analysis was very astute and his conclusion was easy to follow logically. However, it nonetheless amounts to just another way of understanding how Trump is already reelected.

However, I happen to think it's way too early for them to be anointing their ring leader. Remember that people, especially liberals, have a very short attention span. (why a liberal talk show has never made it big) I agree there will be hype over someone "rising in the polls". Just think it's way too soon for their "big momentum" of the chosen one. You may be right about Warren....and I think you're right about a young new face in 2024...I think that face is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and she is being groomed already for the run. </my opinion>

I think that face is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and she is being groomed already for the run. My opinion differs. I think Ally-babe is going the Bernie route, i.e. becoming a pain in the DNC's ass. I think she has decided to go against the grain and piss off the upper echelons. You and I have it easy; all we need to do is wait for her reelection campaign and watch how the DNC treats her. Notice I didn't say watch how the media treats her because we both know the media will fawn over her. Will the DNC financially support another Democrat who is running against her rather than do the standard Dempcrat thing and only support the incumbent? Remember, the DNC hates Bernie, and now they have a young female version who is trying to usurp Pelosi and other senior Democrats. Ally-babe is a freshman so the Democrats don't lose any seniority by casting her by the wayside. They say you need to choose your battles carefully, but A-O-See-My-Lips-Move jumped into the ring swinging for the fences ... and not just at Trump. I will admit that lately she seems to have fallen in line by sticking to bashing Trump, blathering about kids kept in cages at the border and women being forced to drink out of toilets, etc... Maybe Ally-babe is coming around, who knows? I submit that we'll have a better idea come her reelection time.

Can't argue with any of your reasoning. Here's my fears... Bill Clinton...............46 years old. Good looking face, charismatic, smooth talker. 2 terms and wildly popular with libs.. Barack Obama........ 47 years old. Good looking face, charismatic, smooth talker. 2 terms and wildly popular with libs. Hillary should have won, but she's 70 something, not a smooth talker, and NOT a good looking face. Let's be honest, they all say the same things in the end. If the DNC looks at where their success has come from in the last 30 years, I think Alley Babe fits the description well...plus she can actually dance! www.cnn.com/2019/01/04/politics/ocasio-cortez-dancing-video-trnd/index.htmlNow what ignorant liberal college male OR female wouldn't vote for that? Alley Babe scares me.
