There are those that really like Trump, there are those that really hate Trump. There are those that like some of what he does, but dislike some of what he does. He is the 45th president of the United States. There are 44 other presidents before him. Compared to these other presidents, how does Trump compare?

You can put me in that camp Nope, not me, but I can see why the liberals just despise him I don't think there are all that many "on the fence".....a few. I'll have to check your math, but for now I'll take your word for it.  Complete thumbs ups. He does not appear to be owing anyone anything. He seems to be making decisions for the LONG TERM good of the country and not worrying about what will make him look good today with better poll numbers tomorrow. I don't know if I've seen anything like it in my lifetime...Ronald Reagan?? I don't know, I was in the first grade and wasn't really tuned in to the politics of the day.  |

Just like I learned in grammar school, you can compare and contrast anything. Yes you could ask this question of all Presidents but Trump is unlike any President before him. 1. Trump is the first President to have been reelected for a second term immediately upon having been elected for his first term, i.e. the 2016 election of Trump eliminated all need for the 2020 US Presidential election (although it will still be held as a formality). 2. Trump pushed through comprehensive tax reform to lower taxes more than any other President. 3. Trump's administration is overseeing historic low unemployment across all demographics. 4. Trump was elected as a businessman, not as someone with a background as a lawyer or a Senator or military veteran. 5. Trump is bigger than the news media, pummeling CNN into their lowest ratings in years and publicly mocking them while he does it. ... and the list continues. I'd be very interested in prevailing views on Trump in Australia as to how he compares to other US Presidents and why. |

Yeah, Trump seems to legitimately care about the wellbeing of the USA unlike any recent President before him. He doesn't let CNN, NBC, etc. bully him around, either. He is also the only President in my short lifetime who I have been chomping at the bit to re-elect in 2020. I'd say he's either at the top of my list (or damn close to the top) |

It would take a great deal of space to list all of his accomplishments (and accomplishments under his oversight), but I'll also add that he legit cares about the illegal immigration issue, and that he's been standing up to China and Mexico quite strong, looking out for our own interests, and not letting them walk all over us. |
