§ TMID - the tmiddles preemption ordinance

Local Ordinance § TMID – TO PREVENT the wasting of time, effort and bandwidth, notice is hereby given that the following artifacts of discourse, including all constituent locution, can and will be summarily dismissed with prejudice, with no explanation required save reference to this ordinance.

Category 1 - Points raised having already been directly addressed; calls directing attention to points that ignore previous falsifying lines of reasoning; all arguments that are substantive reversals of previous positions, posed as though no change has occurred; all attempts to shift any burden of support; assertions that falsifying arguments and sound rebuttals have somehow been debunked.

Category 2 – Arguments containing terms inadequately defined until such terms become adequately defined; arguments attacking or mocking bogus positions that are not being argued.

Category 3 – Any arguments feigning any level of omniscience, no matter how vehement the claims of obviousness; claims of “what we know” without sufficient support; arguments that conflate terms or units of measure; conclusions drawn from any data not constituting a valid dataset; conclusions from data that bypass the norms of standard statistical analysis; any conclusions drawn from, or involving, proxy measures.

Category 4 – Claims that assign either a subjective nature or elements of religion to science; claims that imply ownership of science by some organization, institution, corporation, government, State or person, or that imply any have authority to approve or deny any theory as science; claims that imply science must somehow adhere to any publisher’s requirements; Claims that modify or alter science; artificial claims of authority based on citing some person, living or deceased, who is not participating in the discussion or who is otherwise unavailable to be cross-examined; all unsupported presumptions of the existence of a problem, threat or danger, including additional claims that its unsupported “rate of change” is somehow yet another problem, threat or danger.

Category 5 – All virtue-signaling to those of the various Marxist faiths, e.g. socialism, communism, Global Warming, Climate Change, Greenhouse Effect, Only Black Lives Matter, ANTIFED, LGBTQIAlphabet-Soup, NOW, etc; All efforts to espouse and to promote terrorism, looting, lynching, murdering, raping and other violence, whether or not such is being claimed as peaceful protest; all claims involving unsubstantiated problems of racism, bigotry, slavery and “racial” injustice in the United States (not mere individual occurrences); all staged photographs and images; vilification of law-abiding citizens wishing to be able to defend themselves or to hunt or to keep and bear arms for any reason whatsoever; any attempts to justify the destruction of art or property by citing what is believed to be sufficient hatred; claims amounting to certain classes of people, either defined or not, being inherent victims, being inherent victimizers or being inherently “sicker” or otherwise more problematic than other classes.
 
This ordinance will remain in effect until rescinded by the council.
